Argentinian Aircraft |
Altough most of them are very fuzzy, they're interesting for the exotic nature of the marking. Most aircraft models are decorated with european or north american markings and the Argentinian roundels would be a fresh change. These pictures were included in the educational booklet "Cartilla del Soldado de Aviación" published in the early decade of 1920 by the governemt to train ground crew members in that new technology. Others came from odd books and ancient magazines.

Restored specimen hanging from the ceiling of the Argentinian Air Force Museum. This one was amongst the first airplanes imported to Argentina in the early 1900s, and many famous aviators flew it during his distinguished career.
