Blèriot Aircraft |
Here are some drawings of this early flying machine. One of these quite simple airframes had enough stamina to cross the English Channel without touching the water, for the first time in history.
Blèriot one seater, front and side views.
Blèriot two seater silouhette, a weird way to show constructive details.
Blèriot engine mounting details, a picture and two schemes to figure out the complex structure.
Control linkage sketch, from a contemporary source.
A Bleriot Bullet? so is captioned in a contemporary magazine.... I doubt about it. Please write me if you know more about this.
Bleriot Parasol two seater, another unidentified machine, whose exact designation eludes me once more
Bleriot fans in Argentina. Aviators used to be elegant people once.
This one is a restored specimen hanging from the ceiling of the hangars in the Argentinian Air Force Museum. This one was among the first airplanes imported to Argentina in the begginings of the XXth century, and many famous aviators flew it during his distinguished career.
The airplane hanging from the ceiling, shows its translucence.
Nose detail, note excellent craftmanship and three cylinder Anzani engine. The hub plate doesn't like realistic, don't you think? Maybe it's there until they get a new one...
Belly detail, showing control and landing wires.
